Chester's Dee 106.3 will celebrate the achievements of Local Heroes with a glittering awards ceremony taking place on Thursday 16th July at the Ramada Hotel, Chester.

Categories include:

• Act of courage - Adult (16+)
• Carer of the year
• Volunteer worker of the year
• Child of courage (Under 16)
• Outstanding sports person of the year
• Parent / guardian of the year
• Grandparent of the year
• Local business of the year
• Teacher of the year
• Young achiever / young person of the year (Under 25 years)
