Simon Davies

Simon Davies Biography
I was born in the front room of a house in Hatton Road, Blacon, Chester on 20th February 1969. Chester was under several inches of snow.
I went to Blacon Junior school, before moving to Broughton Junior school. I won the fancy dress at Broughton Village Fete when I was ten, as the Incredible Hulk.
I went to St David's High School in Saltney and after 'O' levels got my first radio job in 1986.
I went on to present radio programmes in Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester, and presented for ITV too.
The biggest decision I ever made was to set up my first business. That was back in 1999, and I'm still enjoying what I do, helping other businesses to make more money.
The best bit of Chester, in my opinion, has to be The Groves. It is always very busy on hot sunny days in the Summer, but it is at it's best in the Autumn and Winter.
Another of my favourite bits of Chester has sadly ended up boarded up, the Odeon. My Dad was a central figure there right up until it closed, and I spent most of my childhood, and certainly every Saturday morning there. I always sat in the same seat - at the front. I was given the seat as a souvenir when the cinema was 'stripped out', and it now lives on in my son's bedroom.
